Cell Phone Recycling Program

In todays world we have to keep up with all the newest things to stay contacted to the people around use. Well what happened to that old Nokia you had when the iphone was released? Many cell phones lay lifeless in drawers or boxes or worst landfills. Throughout the month of December, NotTrash along with many of our community friends are asking you to help us make a difference.
  • Nationwide, it is estimated that only 1% of retired cell phones are recycled or reused
  • Each cell phone that ends up in the landfill can pollute up to 132,000 liters of water
  • Cell phones include all of the following: lead, mercury, cadmium, brominated flame retardants and arsenic and if not recycled all of this will eventually damage our environment and "Fresh" air.
To protect everyones privacy please make sure to delete all personal information before dropping off cell phones to be recycled.

You may drop off your cell phones at any of the locations below:

Are keurig coffee k-cup an Eco Friendly option?

Although they do eliminate the wasteful use of water by reducing the amount of coffee that can sit and go bad. They sure do waste a lot of plastic.
